Having
served the Japanese business community as an interface
with local executives for the past 15 years, I am under
the impression that it may take more time before
a deep mutual trust will sprout. Differences in
motivators, work values and outlook on life are
so deep that building relationship will require
vision, passion, tolerance, and maturity. It would
be difficult for organizations to accumulate experiencial
knowledge so long as they depend on rotating expatriates
to manage operations. We must now begin dialogue for collaborative
management. Let me urge you to join me in “Global
Dialogue Forum” and praying that people -
Japanese and their partners - will come around together
here to help each other. I appreciate your participation
and support. --- Takashi
